Navy Chief, Rachel Chapman and her husband Cole, a Navy veteran, have been without an air conditioning system since October 2018. Within that time, Cole has experienced two accidents, the first in 2015 which left him with the loss of both his legs, and the second within two weeks of Rachel contacting NexGen, which left him with a broken back and a broken hand. While in the hospital, his family lost his income and did not believe they were going to have an AC system for the summer until Rachel heard about NexGen.

They decided to shoot them an email asking about pricing, just to see what her family can do before the summer heat hits. A week later, she received a call that her family had been selected for our Project X Program. While Cole was still in the hospital, NexGen came out and installed a brand-new AC system for Rachel and her two little girls. The girls wanted to surprise their dad and called him right after the installation to tell him the good news!

Now Rachael’s family will be cool and comfortable this summer and for many summers to come.

Eric, a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force, and his family have been without a good air conditioner for quite some time. They found that a new, quality air conditioner would be pricey until Eric’s wife remembered her friend telling her about our NexGen Veteran Giveaway.

After applying, no more than two weeks later Eric and his family heard they were chosen to receive a free air conditioner from our NexGen Veteran Giveaway. Our team arrived bright and early to install their new system and now Eric and his family can enjoy their summer in a cool and comfortable home!

Carmen and Bob were finding it difficult to start their furnace for the cold winter nights and turned to using portable heaters to suffice. When Carmen came across NexGen and asked for a diagnosis, the NexGen team found that the unit was not repairable. Our CEO and Founder, Ismael Valdez reached out to Carmen for the repair, but when the team arrived at her home, they surprised her with a brand-new furnace and a whole new air distribution ducting system. Thank you for allowing us to give back and provide you and Bob with comfort and safety for years to come.

NexGen installs a new air conditioning system for Adriana Lozano and her family in honor of her late husband, Gabriel. The AC system was over 20 years old, so it needed to be replaced immediately.

NexGen selects 2 families in need per year for a brand new air conditioning system, and we would love to continue to give back to our community for years to come.

As a production manager at Nexgen Air, Freddy Palomares got to pay it forward to his brother Luis Palomares and install an AC unit system donated by Nexgen as part of the Project X program.

Luis was rushed to the hospital back in February and diagnosed with stage 2 pneumonia. He was put on life support, and two months later doctors woke him up to see how much he would be able to survive on his own. The next day, Luis breathed alone and shared laughs with his wife. Due to his illness, Luis has been out of work for the last three months. Nexgen donated a brand-new air-conditioning unit to help him stay comfortable inside his home when he comes out of the hospital.

Project X is a program that Nexgen put together to donate free air conditioning and heating systems to those in need. Because of Nexgen, Luis and his family will be able to enjoy a cool home during California’s summer season.

Jack Wilson, Head Baseball coach at Thousand Oaks High School, has given back to his community for the last 20 years. After 14 years of playing in the Major League, he decided to donate his time, money, and himself to his old stomping grounds. NexGen gave back to both Jack and the community of Thousand Oaks High School by upgrading their air conditioning and heating system. Now the Varsity Boys Baseball Clubhouse will not only be their central hub to hang out and bond as a team but will be supported by NexGen and our team for years to come. Thank you, Jack and Thousand Oaks High School for giving us the honor of giving your team cool air in the summer and heat in the winter.

Air Force Staff Sergeant and Korea Veteran Al is a deserving recipient of our Military Appreciation Project giveaway. After leading a life of servant leadership, he continues to support and give to others despite losing his wife to cancer and recently surviving his battle with cancer. For those who are struggling through the demands of a cancer diagnosis, he cooks meals, drives others to their appointments, and helps with shopping, chores, and household projects.

While Al probably believes this is a blessing to his home, where his unit was failing, at NexGen it is the least we can do to say thank you to Al for his military service and his continued support of his community. Al, we salute you!

After JD and Shannon Fox’s son, Carson was diagnosed with a rare form of osteosarcoma, so Shannon decided to take a leave of absence to make sure their son gets the therapy he needs. Now, they have been searching for a company to help improve their indoor air quality, while Shannon and Carson are home.

NexGen provided ionic purification, UV light air scrubbers, a new furnace, and upgraded air filtration to make their home as safe as possible.

Project X is a program that NexGen put together to give back to the community and help those in need. Because of NexGen, Carson and his family will be able to enjoy cool clean air while on the road to recovery.

The Rescue Mission Village of Hope in Orange County found a need and made a way to fill it. The Diaper Drive, put together by Pamela Tyus and her team, was organized in less than a week and resulted in a huge turnout. On average the Village of Hope goes through 5,500 diapers a month and sees many single moms who struggle to pay for diapers and wipes. Ana, who works at the shelter, says this is the highest spike they have seen in homelessness, especially with children. With over 82 children in shelters, people like Malia, a competition surfer, and Ismael, the Founder and CEO of NexGen, found a way to provide for this need. The NexGen family donated pallets of diapers and wipes to the Rescue Mission Village of Hope to provide these homeless children and many more with daily essentials.

If there's one thing to never go without in Desert Hot Springs, CA, it's a working AC! Unfortunately for veteran, John, his AC unit was beyond repair once it went down.

His neighbor, Robin wanted to do anything she could to help. She has been the primary caretaker for her sister after an accident left her in hospice care 3 years ago. There are very few people as caring as her.

After multiple failed attempts for both John and Robin to get approved for a new AC unit, NexGen Service Manager, Ruben had an idea for John to sign up for Project X. It was a success! John was approved for a brand-new AC unit.

NexGen Install Manager, Ernie Perez came out to install a unit complete with a furnace, coil, and condenser so John can have heating and AC depending on the weather. Serving Southern California has privileges. Being able to serve those who support us is an absolute privilege and something we value at NexGen.

Project X is honoring another military family in need. This time, Gold Star Wife Stephanie from Buena Park is receiving a brand new AC unit for her home. This summer was brutally hot and having to survive the summer with just a small old window AC unit made for a tough time for Stephanie and her small children.

We're honored to be able to help Stephanie keep her home cool, free of charge, and offer her and her family as much comfort as possible. Thank you Stephanie!

George and the team initially came to repair their original furnace, when they shortly realized it was beyond repair.  Liz recommended submitting their situation as a Project X candidate. After review, it was no doubt that Project X would get the job done!
