The Traditional ASX14 Air Conditioner is a HERS-tested AC unit designed for efficient cooling and quiet operation. Its high-efficiency scroll compressor delivers reliable cooling comfort while helping to lower energy bills. Efficient cooling is also enabled by aluminum fin condenser coils as well as five-millimeter premium copper tubing that uses R-410A refrigerant for superior heat transfer.

In addition to efficiency, this air conditioning unit is designed to run quietly. A high-density sound control blanket has been acoustically engineered to reduce noise levels, while the heavy-gauge galvanized steel enclosure has a built-in sound control top and advanced fan design to make airflow quieter. A single-speed condenser fan motor reduces airflow noise as well. The enclosure is also protected by an architectural gray powder-paint finish.

The ASX14 is built for longevity. From durable components to an inline filter drier that keeps dirt and moisture out of the refrigerant system, the HVAC unit is designed to run reliably for many years. Its smart diagnostics system ensures problems are discovered long before failure, so they can be fixed quickly. And, operating the ASX14 is simple, especially when it’s connected to Nest home automation products; you can even control and monitor the air conditioner via your smartphone.
