Electric Heating & Cooling
Rooftop Packaged Heat Pump APH14M
This HERS tested rooftop heat pump delivers a highly efficient cooling capacity and meets 14 SEER and 8.0 HSPF efficiency levels. The APH14M matches the reliability and performance of the NEXGEN brand. Since the blower compartment is fully insulated, the unit operates quietly. It’s built into a self-contained package unit, whether installed on the ground or on the roof. Fewer moving parts mean reduced energy use, which includes the high-efficiency scroll compressor built into this heat pump.

Product Summary
The APH14M packaged heat pump has several built-in advanced energy efficient features:
- Efficient Scroll Compressor: More efficient than a reciprocating compressor, the scroll compressor of the APH14M has fewer moving parts, uses a chlorine-free R-410 refrigerant, and contains an internal relief valve.
- All-Aluminum Evaporator Coil: Designed as a single metal component, it improves durability and allows the heat pump to reach higher performance levels.
- High-Density Foam Sound Cover: Built into the blower compartment, the sound cover allows for quiet operation even at maximum operating conditions; the compartment is fit with access panels for simple maintenance.
More efficient and quieter than traditional air conditioning systems, the APH14M is more convenient. Nest automation extends this convenience even further, as the system can be controlled from a smartphone along with various other home automation components. The pump also provides not only heating and cooling. It also purifies air thanks to ActivePure® Technology.
The unit includes only premium-quality parts including a multi-speed ECM indoor blower motor, liquid-line filter drier, and enclosed, permanently lubricated condenser fan motor. It’s cabinet is made of heavy-gauge galvanized steel and is further protected by a baked-on powder-paint finish. Proper anchoring enables the heat pump to meet 2010 Florida Building Code requirements for hurricane-type winds.
