Product Summary
The ARUF air handler is AHRI certified and ETL listed. A DecaBDE-free thermoplastic pan is included, and also features secondary drain connections. The electric unit is designed to a depth of 21-inches, making attic access easier. It is also designed to reduce air leakage, which in accordance with ASHRAE standard 193 is:
- Less than 2.0% at 1.0-in. H2O
- Less than 1.4% at 0.5-in. H2O
The ARUF’s all-aluminum coil features grooved tubing for efficient cooling and improved durability and comfort. A coil mounting track is designed to help reposition the unit quickly if necessary. The product’s factory-mounted expansion valves allow precise control of refrigerant flow, further improving efficiency, while the multi-speed blower motors help lower energy consumption and improve airflow. A SEER rating of up to 16 yields a great compromise between efficiency and cost.
An energy efficient solution, the HERS-tested unit is suited for heat pump applications that use an R-410 chlorine-free refrigerant. It is also R-22 compatible. This makes it ideal for adhering to the latest regulations and effectively delivering air heated by your furnace. And like other NEXGEN products, the ARUF air handler features a 10-year lifetime warranty on parts and a Lifetime Unit Replacement Warranty, maximizing protection on your purchase.
