Moreno Valley Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing Services
Moreno Valley runs hotter than almost anywhere else NEXGEN serves — August highs averaging close to 91°F with plenty of days pushing past 100 — and an AC system that isn't sized for that kind of sustained heat load is going to fail years ahead of schedule. A lot of the city's growth took off after March Air Reserve Base scaled back in the 1990s and freed up land for the subdivisions many Moreno Valley homeowners live in today, which means most systems here are dealing with real, near-desert demand rather than a mild coastal average. We size every estimate around what this valley actually asks of a system, not a generic Southern California number.

Air Conditioning & Heating in Moreno Valley
If your system runs constantly through the summer and your house still doesn't feel comfortable, undersizing is the most common culprit we find in Moreno Valley — a unit built for a coastal climate simply can't keep pace with inland heat that regularly tops 100°F. We also check ductwork on any home built during the 1970s–90s growth wave, since ducts from that era are often leaking or undersized by now, wasting a chunk of your system's output before it ever reaches a vent.
Plumbing in Moreno Valley
Eastern Municipal Water District supplies most of Moreno Valley with a blend of imported and local groundwater that runs moderately hard, which adds up over years of use in a water heater or fixture that's already working overtime in this heat. The valley sits on a mix of granitic and alluvial soils depending on the area, which can affect how underground lines hold up over time. We check your water and your plumbing's condition together, since in this valley, the two problems tend to show up hand in hand.
Signs Your AC Is Undersized for Moreno Valley Heat
- The system runs almost nonstop on 95°F-plus days but the house still feels warm
- Uneven cooling between rooms, especially those farthest from the unit
- Energy bills that spike well beyond what neighbors with similar homes report
- The system was installed more than 12-15 years ago, before more recent growth in the area
- You've needed more than one repair call already this summer

Why does my AC struggle so much in Moreno Valley compared to other cities nearby?
Moreno Valley is one of the hottest cities in our service area, with August average highs near 91°F and many days exceeding 100°F. A system sized for a milder, more coastal climate will almost always struggle here — proper sizing for this specific heat load is the single biggest factor in system reliability.

Can't Say Enough Good Things
“My thermostat took a dive on me so I went to replace it. That's where I met Breanna at Home Depot she advised me on the Ecobee one and normally I don't use big companies because of cost is always higher since they have higher overhead. However, at $49 for a diagnostic they sent someone out and that's when things got even better Lazaro was our technician. He was trustworthy and communicative and effective at explaining to me and my wife what he's doing to our unit and why. In the end because of his demeanor and character I chose to get work done through his company. I got an ionizer placed and he patched a few areas where air was escaping. Cleaned condenser and added a second capacitor and cleaned the fan on inside of my house as well as checked the coils which were fine. In summary the company is trustworthy or at least my experience was good. At at a $49 diagnostic fee it was worth it to have someone come out and let me know where I'm at. Can't say enough though about Lazaro he sold me on trusting next gen so if everyone is like him you'll find value.”- S.S. -
Trustworthy Team
“My technician Joseph was a solid and upstanding dude. He took his time doing an inspection of my old hvac system. He let me hover over him and helped educate me on the different components of the furnace and AC units. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, but he told me what I needed to hear. Would trust him and his team to do my maintenance and future installs for my home.”- Andrew W. -
