Riverside Air Conditioning, Heating, and Plumbing Services
When a Riverside summer hits triple digits, you need a team that keeps your system running — not one that just explains why it's struggling. NEXGEN has serviced homes across Riverside long enough to know exactly what this city asks of an AC unit or a set of pipes, whether you're in a century-old Craftsman near the Wood Streets or a newer build out toward the county line. And because Riverside runs its own municipal utility instead of SCE, we make sure you walk away with every rebate dollar you're entitled to — not just a repair bill.
Don't let another Riverside summer catch your system off guard. Call NEXGEN at (820) 200-1614 for a free estimate today.
Air Conditioning & Heating in Riverside
Your AC works harder in Riverside than almost anywhere else we serve, so it deserves a team that sizes it right the first time instead of handing you a one-size-fits-all inland quote. We build every system around Riverside's real summer heat load, so you're not left with a unit that's straining by July. And because Riverside Public Utilities runs rebate programs SCE customers never see, we flag every eligible upgrade — heat pumps, tune-ups, smart thermostats — before we finalize a number. That's real money most Inland Empire homeowners are leaving on the table, and we're not going to let you be one of them.
Signs Your AC Can't Keep Up With Riverside Heat
- Your system runs constantly but the house still feels warm
- Energy bills spike well beyond what you'd expect
- The system is more than 12-15 years old
- You're getting inconsistent cooling between rooms
- You've already needed more than one repair this summer
Plumbing in Riverside
If your home sits in the Wood Streets or near the Mission Inn, there's a good chance you're still running on galvanized or cast iron pipe from the citrus era — and waiting for it to fail costs a lot more than fixing it on your terms. We send a camera down the line before we ever recommend a repair, so you know exactly what you're paying for and why. And no matter how new your home is, Riverside's notoriously hard water is working against your fixtures and water heater right now. A softener or a tankless conversion pays for itself in fewer service calls, and we'll show you the math before you decide.
Frequently Asked Questions
What rebates does Riverside Public Utilities offer for a new AC or heat pump?
Riverside is one of the few cities in our service area with its own municipal electric utility, Riverside Public Utilities (RPU), which runs rebate programs separate from SCE. Current RPU incentives include a per-ton rebate for qualifying high-efficiency heat pump systems, a tune-up rebate, and a smart thermostat rebate. Because these programs and dollar amounts change, we confirm current eligibility with RPU before finalizing your quote.

Excellent Team
“NEXTGEN repaired my HVAC system which had an intermittent heating problem on a timely basis and it was covered under warranty. The technician was very polite an professional.”- Mark R. -
Can't Say Enough Good Things
“My thermostat took a dive on me so I went to replace it. That's where I met Breanna at Home Depot she advised me on the Ecobee one and normally I don't use big companies because of cost is always higher since they have higher overhead. However, at $49 for a diagnostic they sent someone out and that's when things got even better Lazaro was our technician. He was trustworthy and communicative and effective at explaining to me and my wife what he's doing to our unit and why. In the end because of his demeanor and character I chose to get work done through his company. I got an ionizer placed and he patched a few areas where air was escaping. Cleaned condenser and added a second capacitor and cleaned the fan on inside of my house as well as checked the coils which were fine. In summary the company is trustworthy or at least my experience was good. At at a $49 diagnostic fee it was worth it to have someone come out and let me know where I'm at. Can't say enough though about Lazaro he sold me on trusting next gen so if everyone is like him you'll find value.”- S.S. -
Trustworthy Team
“My technician Joseph was a solid and upstanding dude. He took his time doing an inspection of my old hvac system. He let me hover over him and helped educate me on the different components of the furnace and AC units. He didn’t tell me what I wanted to hear, but he told me what I needed to hear. Would trust him and his team to do my maintenance and future installs for my home.”- Andrew W. -
Great Service!
“My AC stopped working and gave me a power failure message. Ryan was dispatched as the technician to assist. He was great, he quickly diagnosed the issues (fuses and capacitors). He gave me practical solutions and was great to work with. If I have issues in the future I will be asking for him specifically.”- Roger D. -

He was clean, respectful of our space, and very thorough in his work. You can tell he takes pride in what he does. He went above and beyond, and his kindness and professionalism did not go unnoticed. Highly recommend.”- Erika A.
