Efficiency is maximized by a variable-speed ECM blower motor, which also allows for quiet startup and shutdown. An energy efficient compressor uses chlorine-free R-410A refrigerant and is designed to provide reliable performance for many years.

The APH16M is built for efficiency and dependability from the top down, from its variable speed circulator motor to a scroll compressor with fewer moving parts than traditional compressors. Self-contained in a single package, the unit is designed for multi-position installation, maximizing flexibility. Airflow can even be converted to be horizontal or downflow. A 16 SEER, 8.2 HSPF, and EER of 12 make it highly favorable for applications that demand energy efficiency.

In addition, the APH16M employs ActivePure® Technology for the best in air and surface purification. The variable stage heat pump also fits in well with smart home applications as it works with Nest automation products. You can use your smartphone to control it and receive instant notifications. Plus, the unit is as durable as it is efficient. A heavy-gauge galvanized steel cabinet features a powder-paint finish to protect it from the elements.
